We are delighted to announce the launch of a new SF and F subscription which will focus on new releases.
At present we have two subscription boxes (a monthly Fantasy subscription, and a bi-monthly Science Fiction subscription), which focus on back list titles.
Our new 'SF&F' subscription will focus on front-list titles from both new voices and established authors. The aim is to take titles that we would have done outside of this subscription, and kick it up a gear on the artwork and finishes front.
Titles such as The Last Vigilant, The Tainted Cup and Shroud - to the level of editions such as Hyperion, The Devils and Blood Over Bright Haven.
By implementing a subscription model, we hope to decrease the amount of weekend sales taking place each month. This should result in a more even spread of special editions produced by us across the year. It will also help with bringing down the usual higher costs of these books.
With that said, we will still be producing special editions outside of our subscriptions, but this path will allow us to continue upping the specs on our sub specials.
New Subscription Breakdown
Reveal Style
We will be posting a teaser reel on social media, and a theme reveal, ahead of the billing date for each SF&F box. The theme reveal will include a list of specs and artist details.
The theme reveal for the September 2025 box will take place next week.
Payment & Billing
The SF&F subscription will cost £24 + p&p per month and will be renewed on the 5th of every other month. For now, the subscription will be bi-monthly, meaning payment will only be taken once every two months.

Shipping
Similar to our existing two subscriptions, SF&F subscription books will ship out a month after payment has been taken. This is to allow the processing of skips and any payment errors.
Skipping Titles
Each SF&F subscriber will be entitled to skip half the books featured on the subscription. Whilst the subscription is bi-monthly, this equates to up to 3 titles skipped per subscriber, per year.
From Bi-Monthly to Monthly
We'd like to highlight that we are aiming to switch the SF&F subscription from bi-monthly to monthly sometime next year. This change will be announced ahead of time with plenty of warning.
To accommodate the switch to a monthly service, we will be increasing the number of skips allowed per subscriber from 3 to 9. This means that although the total books produced via the subscription will increase, subscribers will still be able to get the same number of books through the use of skips.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Will all of the SF&F subscription books be signed?
A. Our aim is for each special edition to be signed. That being said, this might not be possible for all titles. We will make it clear which titles will come signed.
Q. Will this subscription be numbered?
A. No, this subscription will not feature any numbered books.
Q. Will all SF&F subscription books feature new cover art, foiling etc?
A. Yes. Our aim is for each book to feature new artwork in some form or other. A full spec list will be posted across our social media accounts, and via newsletters, ahead of each billing date.
Q. Will the SF&F subscription feature an even split of Sci-Fi and Fantasy titles?
A. Our aim is to feature a mix of both genres, but the split might not be exactly 50/50.
Q. What's the difference between your existing subscriptions and this one?
A. The new SF&F subscription will only feature new releases. Our other subscriptions focus on back lists titles. The SF&F subscription will only include the first book in a series or standalone titles.
Q. Will any sequels to books featured on the SF&F subscription receive matching special editions?
A. Yes, but our plan is to offer any sequels outside of the subscription to anyone who has purchased the first book. This will also apply to anyone who buys a copy via a leftover sale.
Q. I'm already subscribed to the Fantasy and/or Sci-Fi subs. Will you be offering an option for combined shipping?
A. Logistically there are a lot of variables involved with combining shipping such as skips, multiple dispatch dates, storage, packing etc. As such, at this time, we cannot offer combined shipping on our subscriptions.
Q. Will SF&F subscribers receive pre-sale access to weekend sales?
A. SF&F subscribers will receive Saturday early access for weekend sales if they aren't skipping the current sub pick. This is the same as Tier 2 Fantasy subs for Fantasy titles/sets or Fantasy subs for Sci-Fi titles/sets.
Q. Can I join and immediately skip the September 2025 box?
A. No. Like with all our subscriptions, it is not possible to join with a skip. You may however join and skip the second book (October payment / November delivery) after your first payment has gone through.
Q. I want to skip the September 2025 box. Is there a waitlist for the SF&F I can join?
A. The SF&F sub waitlist link will be included in the early access newsletter sent out on Monday 4th August. Those on the interest list will be given first opportunity to sign up to it.
