CL Clark is the author of several books, including The Unbroken, Fate’s Bane, and Ambessa: Chosen of the Wolf, along with a handful short stories and essays exploring love and war and hope and sacrifice in immersive fantasy worlds. Fortune's Wake is a new standalone novella, set in a brand new fantasy world, that has been published by Grimdark Magazine. It is published from 24th August 2026 from their website.
