WHAT IS OUR SF&F SUBSCRIPTION?
Our SF&F Subscription sends you a beautifully crafted special-edition science fiction or fantasy hardback every month. Each book is a newly released front-list title chosen from exciting new voices as well as popular established authors.
Every edition features enhanced artwork, thoughtful design, and premium finishing details created exclusively for our subscribers. These books are produced to a high collectible standard, with unique touches you won’t find in the regular retail editions.
REVEALS, BILLING & SHIPPING
Reveal Style
A teaser reel and a theme reveal are posted ahead of the billing date for each SF&F box. The theme reveal includes a full list of specs and artist details.
Payment & Billing
The SF&F subscription costs £24 + p&p per month and renews on the 5th of every month. The subscription was initially bi-monthly, but has now become a monthly service.
Here is a quick payment breakdown for 2025 and early 2026:
Shipping
Similar to our existing two subs, SF&F subscription books will ship out a month after payment has been taken. This is to allow the processing of skips and any payment errors.
SKIPPING TITLES & FREQUENCY
Skipping Titles
Each SF&F subscriber will be entitled to skip 9 out of the 12 books featured on the subscription. For 2026, SF&F subscribers can skip up to 8 out of 11 books, to accommodate the switch from bi-monthly to monthly.

GENERAL QUESTIONS

Will all SF&F sub books be signed?
Our aim is for each special edition featured to be signed. That being said, this might not be possible for all titles. We will make it clear which titles will come signed!

Will SF&F sub books be numbered?
No, unfortunately this subscription will not feature any numbered books.

Will all SF&F sub books feature new cover art, foiling etc.?
Yes! Our aim is for each book to feature new artwork in some form or other. A full spec list will be posted across our social media accounts and via newsletters ahead of each billing date.

Will the SF&F sub feature an even split of Sci-Fi and Fantasy titles?
Our aim is to feature a mix of both genres but the split might not be exactly 50/50. There are a lot of factors involved.

What’s the difference between your existing subscriptions and this one?
The new SF&F subscription will only feature first books in series or standalones, all new releases. Our two existing subscriptions feature backlist/older series or standalones.

Will any sequels to books featured on the subs receive matching special editions?
Our plan is to offer any future sequels outside of the subscription to anyone who has purchased the first book. This will apply to anyone who buys a copy via a leftover sale!

I’m already subscribed to the Fantasy and/or Sci-Fi subs. Will you be offering an option for combined shipping?
Logistically there are a lot of variables involved with combining shipping such as skips, multiple dispatch dates etc. As such we cannot offer combined shipping on our subscriptions at this time.

Will SF&F subs receive pre-sale access to weekend sales?
SF&F subs will receive Saturday early access for weekend sales if they aren't skipping the current sub pick. Same as Tier 2 Fantasy subs for Fantasy titles/sets or Fantasy subs for Sci-Fi titles/sets.

Can I join and immediately skip the September 2025 box?
Like with all our subscriptions, it is not possible to join with a skip. You may however join and skip the second book (October payment / November delivery) after your first payment has gone through.

I want to skip the September 2025 box. Is there a waitlist for the SF&F I can join?
The SF&F sub waitlist link will be included in the early access newsletter sent out on Monday 4th August. Those on the interest list will be given first opportunity to sign up to it.
